Vegane Bands: Brainfuckers aus Kroatien (nicht mehr als Band aktiv)

Warum ist intersektionaler ethischer Veganismus ‘der Weg’, den wir begehen sollten? Was ist Euch beim ethischen Veganismus das Wichtigste? Wir haben Mariana Cerovečki, die Gitaristin der veganen Band Brainfuckers aus Zagreb, Kroatien, gefragt:

Ich denke das Wichtigste ist, sich gegen alle Teile von Unterdrückung aktiv zu machen: Veganismus, Tierrechte und Menschenrechte. Wir können nicht für eine bessere Welt kämpfen wenn wir das Leid von Menschen außer Acht lassen. Deshalb geht es in unseren Liedern sowohl um Tier- als auch Menschenrechte (Armut, Ungerechtigkeit, LGBT-Rechte, Feminismus, usw). Wir wollen, dass Leute die Zusammenhänge verstehen und sich in allen Bewegungen engagieren, in denen man sich mit Unterdrückung und Ungerechtigkeit befasst. Was den Veganismus anbetrifft: selbstverständlich ist für uns die Freiheit der Tiere das Wichtigste, die vollständige Abschaffung der Tierausbeutung, leere Käfige und nichts weniger.
