One could just as well have written “humanism” there. Decolonialism cannot be blamed for this… or rather, it involves neither anti-Semitism nor an endorsement of brute force, and Ms. Thunberg’s ideas or similar concepts are not what it is really about either. …

Note: Islamic-patriarchal ideologies are not automatically
decolonial positions. Even an appeal to criticism of colonialism or to
resistance against Western dominance does not make an ideology an
emancipatory decolonial practice …
The attempt to use the Israel-Palestine conflict, of all things, to prove
that antisemitism is not embedded in a history of racism and
hierarchies of humanity fails to recognize the historical dimension
of the problem. It replaces an analysis of ideologies with a political
debate about the present.
Part of the international decolonial discourse in German-speaking countries is heavily focused on symbolic and geopolitical proxy conflicts, while the concrete ecological, social, and territorial issues of indigenous and local movements receive less attention.

Man hätte jetzt da auch „Humanismus“ hinschreiben können. Dekolonialismus kann nicht dafür … bzw. beinhaltet weder Antisemitismus noch eine Befürwortung von roher Gewalt und Frau Thunbergs Konzepte oder Ähnliches sind auch nicht das, worum in der Sache geht. …

Merke: Islamisch-patriarchale Ideologien sind nicht automatisch dekoloniale Positionen. Selbst eine Berufung auf Kolonialismuskritik oder auf Widerstand gegen westliche Dominanz macht eine Ideologie nicht zu einer emanzipatorischen dekolonialen Praxis …
Der Versuch, ausgerechnet am Israel-Palästina-Konflikt zu beweisen, dass Antisemitismus nicht in eine Geschichte von Rassismus u. Menschenhierarchisierung eingebettet sei, verkennt die historische Dimension des Problems. Es ersetzt eine Analyse von Ideologien durch eine politische Gegenwartsdebatte.
Ein Teil des internationalen Dekolonialdiskurses wird im deutschsprachigen Raum stark über symbolische und geopolitische Stellvertreterkonflikte geführt, während die konkreten ökologischen, sozialen und territorialen Fragen indigener und lokaler Bewegungen weniger Aufmerksamkeit erhalten.
