Protecting Nature for itself
Why do we assume by majority that we need to protect and preserve the world, „nature“, because of our obligation to other people and to ourselves, the coming generation, but not to change the behavior and thinking that caused world destruction in the first place?
We thus assume, as can be inferred from the rhetoric of environmentalism, by a majority that we do not need to protect nature because of itself.
This logic is essentially an ethical slippery slope.
As long as the authoritative canon within humanity continues to view nature in the way that ultimately characterizes the Anthropocene > that is, nature is fundamentally instrumentalized > as long as this extreme of destructive attitudes, most dominantly expressed in the economy (which destroys everything), nothing will change.
Proteger la naturaleza por sí misma
¿Por qué asumimos por mayoría que necesitamos proteger y preservar el mundo, la „naturaleza“, por nuestra obligación con otras personas y con nosotros mismos, la generación venidera, pero no para cambiar el comportamiento y el pensamiento que causó la destrucción del mundo en primer lugar?
Asumimos así, como puede deducirse de la retórica del ecologismo, por mayoría que no necesitamos proteger la naturaleza por sí misma.
Esta lógica es esencialmente una pendiente ética resbaladiza.
Mientras el canon autorizado dentro de la humanidad siga viendo la naturaleza de la manera que en última instancia caracteriza al Antropoceno > es decir, la naturaleza está fundamentalmente instrumentalizada > mientras este extremo de actitudes destructivas, expresado de manera más dominante en la economía (que lo destruye todo), nada cambiará.
Die Natur wegen ihrer Selbst schützen
Warum gehen wir davon mehrheitlich aus, dass wir die Welt, die „Natur“, wegen unserer Verpflichtung gegenüber anderen Menschen und uns selbst, den kommenden Generation, schützen und erhalten müssen, jedoch nicht das Verhalten und das Denken ändern müssen, das Weltzerstörung erst verursacht hat?
Wir gehen – so lässt sich aus der Rhetorik des Umweltschutzes schließen – somit mehrheitlich davon aus, dass wir die Natur nicht wegen ihrer Selbst schützen müssen.
Diese Logik ist im Wesentlichen ein ethischer Slippery Slope.
Solange der maßgebliche Kanon innerhalb der Menschheit die Natur weiterhin so betrachtet, wie es das Anthropozän schließlich kennzeichnet > das heißt die Natur wird grundlegend instrumentalisiert > solange wird sich an diesem Extrem destruktiver Haltungen, die am dominantesten Ausdruck in der Wirtschaft finden, (die alles vernichtet) nichts ändern.
