Philanthrophy always ought to provoke the question for how money flow and generating "value" functions …
Another side of the coin is – as being finance fed and driven – what we perceive as "corporized engagement", fostering "expertism", lobbies, elitism https://t.co/czquop61eL— on Animal Objectification (@farmtiere) December 21, 2022
We are critical of the course taken by some groups + individuals as a form of ‚activism‘ in the Animal Rights movement, where political education is organized in a corporate structure, seeing the dangers from close politics/economy-ties in the green movement today with lobbyism.
The way in which society is being thought to function by such activism, diables processes that need to grow and be supported in civil society, instead of being lead by financed and usually noticeably concerted „expertise“ and „leadership“ … .
What we see these days is a tendency to a corporatization of fields, where single ‚intelligence and agency‘ (as plural processes … ) would and do actually make the (civil) difference. Corporatization of classic fields of activism tends to become obstacles overlooking plurality.
