Die Grenze des Politischen im Mainstream-Punk war schon immer erreicht<\/strong><\/p>\n

Punk sollte bittsch\u00f6n sein eigenes Klischee sein. Wenn etwas dar\u00fcber hinaus geht, in Sachen … ja in welchen Punkten eigentlich? Sagen wir mal in Sachen des Anspruches “politischer Hinterfragung des Systemhaften” und \u00c4hnlichem … dann ist es was Neues.<\/p>\n

Punk war das, was all solche Dinge zu schlucken versuchte aus einem revolution\u00e4rem Anspruch heraus, und was all diese Dinge aber auch in einem Rahmen einengte, der heute als Stagnationsbef\u00f6rdernd eindeutig sichtbar geworden ist.<\/p>\n

Punk wird vieles nicht weiter bef\u00f6rdern, was weiter bef\u00f6rdert werden muss. Es ist daher unsinnig – so wichtig wie Punk zu einer bestimmten Zeit bedingt auch war, abgesehen von den Shortcomings in der Zeit und in der Bewegung selbst, die man nun vielleicht herunterzuspielen sucht, und so wichtig wie Ans\u00e4tze sind, die darin beinhaltet waren und sein k\u00f6nnen – diese Bewegung als ein Nonplusultra zu darzustellen und so die weiterhin dr\u00e4ngenden Fragen unserer Zeit in den Hintergrund zu spielen, vor dem Fassadenwerk einer vordergr\u00fcndig gearteten gestischen Revolte. Zu mehr haben es die Repr\u00e4sentanten der Bewegung selbst zumindest es in der Regel nicht geschafft.<\/p>\n

Wie bereits gesagt, Ans\u00e4tze befinden sich in der Bewegung, die in der Zeit jeweils unterschiedliche Sprengstoffqualit\u00e4ten besa\u00dfen, aber die Evolution des Punk endet faktisch an all den Abzweigungen, die inhaltlich – wie man besonders im Falle von Tierrechtspunk sieht – mehr als nur Abzweige sind, wenn man die Botschaft\/en den jemals \u00fcberhaupt ernst gemeint hat.<\/p>\n

Tierrechte Einfordern ohne Konsequenz oder “mit Konsequenz nach Beliebigkeit” ist vielleicht f\u00fcr die meisten Punkinformierten heute Punk, aber es ist eben die Grenze, die an Sprengkraft in der Sache zu erlangen war, mehr nicht.<\/p>\n

Die Bewahrung des Punks “als Idee” wirft die Frage auf, a.) was die \u00dcbereink\u00fcnfte \u00fcber die Idee sind und welche Ideen diesen \u00dcbereink\u00fcnften untergeordnet werden und b. ) welchen Sinn es hat, einen Prozess als abgeschlossen zu betrachten, um eine Idee aufrechtzuerhalten, die vage genug ist, um zu einem Klischee mutieren zu k\u00f6nnen und konservative Grundlagen, wie z.B. eine ganze Reihe offensichtlicher normalisierter -ismen, zu verschleiern, und, die auch vage genug ist, dass die Idee sich selbst als einen H\u00f6hepunkt von Revolutionarit\u00e4t darstellt, trotz all der heutigen Probleme, die aus der Selbstt\u00e4uschung heraus nicht angegangen werden, da dies bereits genug menschliche Anstrengung f\u00fcr eine Revolte gewesen ist.<\/p>\n

Punk should be its own clich\u00e9. If something goes beyond that, in terms of … yes, on what points actually? Let’s say in terms of the claim of \u201cpolitical questioning of the systemic\u201d and the like … then it’s something new.<\/p>\n

Punk was the thing that tried to swallow all these things out of a revolutionary claim, and which also confined all these things within a framework that today has clearly become visible as promoting stagnation.<\/p>\n

Punk will no longer promote many things that need to be promoted. It is therefore nonsensical – as important as punk may have been at a certain time, apart from the shortcomings in the time and in the movement itself, which people may now try to play down; and as important as approaches that were and can be included in it are – to present this movement as the ultimate and thus to push the still pressing issues of our time into the background, in front of the facades of a superficial gestural revolt. As a rule, the representatives of the movement themselves have not managed to do more than this.<\/p>\n

As already mentioned, there are approaches in the movement that each had different explosive qualities at the time, but the evolution of punk effectively ends at all the branches that are more than just branches in terms of content – as can be seen particularly in the case of animal rights punk – if the message(s) were ever meant seriously at all.<\/p>\n

Demanding animal rights without consequence or \u201cwith consequence after arbitrariness\u201d is perhaps punk for most punk-informed people today, but it is just the limit that could be reached in terms of explosive force in the matter, nothing more.<\/p>\n

The preservation of punk as an idea raises the question of a.) what are the agreements about the idea and what are the ideas that are being subordinated to those agreements and b.) what is the point of halting a process in order to uphold an idea, vague enough to mutate > into a clich\u00e9 and a way of cloaking conservative basics like a whole array of obvious normalized -isms, and vague enough that the idea tells itself to be an apex in revolutionariness, in spite of all of today’s problems that won’t get addressed out of the self-delusion of that having been enough of an human effort to revolt.<\/p>\n
