Ein Hardcorekid in einer nicht-veganen Szene zu sein
Panama ist ein Land in dem es den ethischen Veganismus bislang eigentlich nicht gibt. Seit unserer Kindheit wird uns eingetrichtert, dass es völlig normal ist andere Lebewesen zu essen, ihnen ihre Neugeborenennahrung (Milch) wegzunehmen oder ihre Menstruationsprodukte (Eier) zu essen.
Schuld daran ist der Mangel an Informationen. In Panama existieren keine Organisationen die sich für den ethischen Umgang mit Tiere einsetzen und in der Hardcoreszene sind hier einfach keine Leute, die sich für den Veganismus einsetzen wollen (was hieße Informationen zu verteilen und andere über das Thema aufzuklären).
Auch wenn nur zwei Mitglieder von Nunca Es Tarde vegan sind und unsere Texte sich meist mit Straight Edge und der Unterstützung der Hardcoreszene befassen, so verteilen wir doch immer Info-Flyer über ethischen Veganismus wo auch immer wir eingeladen sind zu spielen. Und in einigen unserer Lieder geht es auch spezifisch um das Thema.
